Gospel Artist/Songwriter/CEODebra Ashley to Release Sophomore CD

November 1, 2008 (Jacksonville, FL) —Gospel singer-songwriter Debra Ashley feels born again everyday. Her sophomore CD entitled “New Birth” is appropriately scheduled for release in 2009. Debra wrote seven songs on “New Birth”. Grammy Award winning producer Kevin Bond and Dove/Stellar Award winning gospel producer Fred Hammond are assisting Debra in producing cuts on the project.

The songs for “New Birth” were inspired by the tremendous success, spiritual growth and insights Debra experienced after releasing the first CD “Keep The Faith “in 2006. Debra released two videos from her debut CD, I’ll Praise Your Name and Keep The Faith and recently released a third video “He’s A Friend” from the upcoming CD “New Birth”. The inspiring videos received airplay on BET, The Word Network and various gospel networks.

Songs on soon to be released CD “New Birth” such as Letter To God, He’s A Friend and Jesus Deliver Me, reveal the deep intimacy and joyous personal relationship Debra experiences everyday. Her ability to fully develop the story and then sum it all up masterfully is evidence of the growth in Debra as an artist and a songwriter. She is the writer of seven of the songs on the project.

Debra Ashley, the CEO of Angel Calling Entertainment is expanding her vision. The production company is searching for new young talent to sign and nurture.

As a mother of three Debra knows what the young people today listen to. “Angel Calling Entertainment will support and promote new talent and spread the word of God to the next generation”, states Debra. In addition to signing new talent, Angel Calling Recording Studio, a full service-recording studio located in downtown Jacksonville Florida recently celebrated its grand opening.
